These terms govern your use of Grossmeister. By creating an account or buying credits, you accept them.

01THE SERVICE

Grossmeister provides structured appliance investigations: specifications analysis, feature checks, energy and ownership estimates, value analysis and verdicts. Reports are analytical estimates to support your decision — not professional, financial or engineering advice.

02ACCOUNTS

Accounts are created at checkout when you buy credits. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential (minimum 8 characters) and for activity under your account.

03CREDITS

Services are priced in credits. The minimum purchase is 50 credits. Credits activate after payment is confirmed, do not expire, are non-transferable and are spent only when you run a service.

04PAYMENTS

Bank transfer is currently available; bank details are emailed after the order. Card, PayPal and Stripe are rolling out. An order awaiting payment may be cancelled before payment without charge.

05DATA LABELS & ACCURACY

Report figures carry confidence labels (VERIFIED DATA, CALCULATED ESTIMATE, DEMO DATA, DATA NOT AVAILABLE). Estimates depend on stated assumptions; we are not liable for decisions based on labelled estimates.

06LIABILITY & CHANGES

The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We may update these terms; material changes are announced in the dashboard before they take effect. Continued use after that point constitutes acceptance.

What does Grossmeister actually do?

It investigates an appliance before you buy it. You provide a product link, a model name, or a description of what you need — the system analyzes performance, efficiency, features, reliability signals, value and long-term ownership cost, then issues a clear verdict such as BUY IT, CONSIDER or SKIP.

Can I paste a product URL?

Yes. Choose the PRODUCT LINK tab and paste the URL from any retailer or manufacturer page. The system identifies the product and investigates it. Demo investigations use sample data where live fetching is unavailable, clearly labelled as such.

Can you detect overpriced products?

Yes. The Price & Value analysis compares the asking price against an estimated product value derived from specifications, features and category benchmarks. The result is labelled GREAT VALUE, FAIR, ABOVE MARKET, OVERPRICED or UNKNOWN.

Can you estimate ownership cost?

Yes — it's a signature feature. The Ownership Cost section combines purchase price, energy, water, maintenance and consumables over a 5-year horizon, with each component labelled as an estimate.

How does credit pricing work?

Everything is priced in credits, and packages start at 50 credits. You spend credits from your balance on the investigations you need — no subscriptions, no trials.

Is there a free trial or demo plan?

No. There are no trials, demo plans or free tiers. The entry point is a 50-credit package — this keeps the investigation queue fast and the analysis honest.
