This policy explains what Grossmeister collects when you use the service, why we collect it, and the control you have over it.

00DATA CONTROLLER

Grossmeister sp. z o.o., Wincentego Pola 7, 31-532 Kraków, Poland. National Court Register: KRS 0001115577. EUID: PLKRS.0001115577. REGON: 529127870. Contact: [email protected], +48 12 297 35 28.

01DATA WE COLLECT

Account data: first name, last name, email and password provided at checkout. Order data: credits amount, payment method and order identifiers. Investigation data: the queries, links and use cases you submit, plus the case files they produce.

Case files and preferences are stored locally in your browser (local storage) on your device.

02WHY WE USE IT

To create and secure your account, process orders and payments, deliver investigations, keep your case archive available, and respond to support requests. We do not sell personal data and do not run third-party advertising trackers.

03LEGAL BASES

Processing is based on contract performance (delivering the service you ordered), legal obligation (payment records), and legitimate interest (keeping the service secure and improving it). Where consent is required — for non-essential storage — we ask first via the cookie banner.

04RETENTION

Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as long as tax and accounting law requires. Investigation queries are kept to operate your case archive; you may request deletion at any time.

05SHARING

Data is shared only with the processors needed to run the service: payment handling for your chosen method and transactional email delivery. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement.

06YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data, and object to or restrict processing. Contact [email protected] — we answer within one business day. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

What does Grossmeister actually do?

It investigates an appliance before you buy it. You provide a product link, a model name, or a description of what you need — the system analyzes performance, efficiency, features, reliability signals, value and long-term ownership cost, then issues a clear verdict such as BUY IT, CONSIDER or SKIP.

Can I paste a product URL?

Yes. Choose the PRODUCT LINK tab and paste the URL from any retailer or manufacturer page. The system identifies the product and investigates it. Demo investigations use sample data where live fetching is unavailable, clearly labelled as such.

Can you detect overpriced products?

Yes. The Price & Value analysis compares the asking price against an estimated product value derived from specifications, features and category benchmarks. The result is labelled GREAT VALUE, FAIR, ABOVE MARKET, OVERPRICED or UNKNOWN.

Can you estimate ownership cost?

Yes — it's a signature feature. The Ownership Cost section combines purchase price, energy, water, maintenance and consumables over a 5-year horizon, with each component labelled as an estimate.

How does credit pricing work?

Everything is priced in credits, and packages start at 50 credits. You spend credits from your balance on the investigations you need — no subscriptions, no trials.

Is there a free trial or demo plan?

No. There are no trials, demo plans or free tiers. The entry point is a 50-credit package — this keeps the investigation queue fast and the analysis honest.

THE NEXT APPLIANCE YOU BUY — INVESTIGATE IT FIRST.

A five-minute investigation can save five years of regret.
